In a nutshell
Online courses in understanding sustainable communities
In a nutshell is an exciting, fully-funded, series of facilitated online workshops. The workshops aim to bring together professionals in the public, private and community sectors working towards the delivery of sustainable communities.
Each online course consists of five workshops, which aim to help participants:
- Develop a real understanding of the term 'sustainable community'
- Explore the national and regional policy context and perspectives
- Consider the roles, responsibilities and skills of the various organisations and individuals responsible for delivery
Each workshop runs over two weeks with participants expected to logon for a minimum of six hours per workshop. They include a range of learning materials, participant activities and a forum. This course is being delivered as part of the pilot for ASC's new on-line learning portal and will be rolled out later in the year.
