What is a pledge of action?
A pledge of action is a voluntary, public commitment to support the implementation of specified recommendations from the draft Brownfield Skills Strategy. The purpose is to ensure that everyone within the workforce is able to take ownership of and contribute to the success of the brownfield workforce. A pledge of action can be activity already completed, currently underway or planned that is action that falls within recommendations made in the draft Brownfield Skills Strategy.
Why are the pledges of action published on this website?
All pledges of action are published on the ASC website as they are submitted, to promote positive activity relating to implementation of the strategy and to share information of work already underway or planned to a wide audience. We hope that this will help break down barriers and inspire pledges of action from others.
