Skills Framework
We have commissioned the Office for Public Management (OPM) to develop a Competency Framework which will identify and interpret the generic skills considered important and needed by those working within and across the core and associated professions (Egan Review, 2004).
Initially market research will be undertaken into existing skills frameworks that have a focus on generic skills and to apply the learning from this activity into the development of a Sustainable Communities Competency Framework. This framework will be endorsed by key stakeholders from the public and private sector and will underpin diagnostic tools and inform future learning programmes.
