Creating the Future - is the Government's national awards scheme for the sustainable communities sector. It succeeds the Deputy Prime Minister's Award for Sustainable Communities which since 2003 has recognised projects and initiatives that contribute to making better places in which to live and work.

2008's overall winner and recipient of ‘The Co-operative Award for Excellence' was the River Nene Regional Park (RNRP).

The awards provide an unparalleled opportunity to raise your profile with key audiences working in sustainable communities, drawn from central Government and a host of the most influential public and private sector organisations.
